Eco-Friendly Tea Strainer Manufacturers
If you’re looking for sustainable and durable tea strainers that can be branded for your customers, then A Life is the place for you.
Our tea strainer manufacturing services produce stainless steel strainers that are hard-wearing, have low nickel content (or are nickel-free), and have excellent resistance to corrosion – namely rust. Also, the stainless steel we use can be recycled multiple times to become new, resilient items – without losing its valuable properties.
The result is you get to practise
sustainability without cutting back on the option to customise your products to fit your brand image and fulfil your own customers’ requests.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of stainless steel is used for A Life’s tea strainers?
The best type of stainless steel for kitchenware is Grade 304 stainless steel, also known as 18/8 or 18/10 in Germany. It’s mainly used in food-grade products, and this is what the tea strainer manufacturers at A Life use for all our tea strainer products.
Grade 304 stainless steel has a low nickel content and excellent resistance to corrosion – it’s able to withstand corrosion from most oxidising acids. It’s this durability that makes our stainless-steel tea strainers easy to sanitise and last for the long run.
What techniques do you use to make your stainless-steel tea strainers?
We use Grade 316 (medical grade) stainless steel to create tooling, and perform casting, stamping, and electrolysis. We then perform PVD plating, including the use of titanium. The latter process first requires a perfect surface, which is achieved by polishing the steel.
At A Life, we can conduct surface treatments, a costlier but visually appealing option often more expensive than the raw material itself. However, with this method we can achieve a wide range of mirror finishes of varying quality levels, allowing you to customise the strainers to your customers’ preferences.
How are A Life’s tea strainers sustainable?
Our tea strainers are made from high-quality, food-grade stainless steel. It can be recycled repeatedly to become other new and hard-wearing items without losing its valuable properties, as opposed to ultimately ending up in landfill.
