3. Compare particle-size distribution, not one attractive sample
A “fine” or “coarse” label should produce a measurable difference. Collect a defined amount of ground pepper and separate it with suitable sieves or another controlled method. Record the fraction in each size band, then repeat the test across several samples and after endurance cycling.
Particle distribution is more informative than photographing one pile of pepper. It can reveal broad scatter, excess fines, a weak coarse setting or overlapping adjustment positions. The method should remain practical enough to repeat during development and production audits.

7. Measure leakage and countertop cleanliness
